- Precision Tooling: Utilizing micrometers, calipers, and indicators to maintain tolerances of $+/- .001$ to $.003$ during machine rebuilds.
- Experience: 3–5 years of multicraft industrial maintenance experience.
- Technical Literacy: Expert ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
- Safety Mastery: Deep knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash safety protocols.
- Testing: Must pass a mechanical aptitude evaluation and a math test (precision scales and fractional math).
- High Earnings: Competitive hourly rates with a clear path to "Class A" status.
- Overtime: With consistent 50+ hour weeks, top technicians regularly earn $100k - $118k annually.

Job Summary
The Multicraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of highly automated manufacturing machinery. This includes complex electrical systems, PLC-driven equipment, and heavy-duty mechanical stamping and welding systems.
Core Responsibilities
- PLC & Controls: Setup, integrate, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) on various production machines to resolve recurring issues.
- Stamping & Press Maintenance: Maintain and repair hydraulic and mechanical stamping presses (often ranging from 400 to 1000 tons).
- Welding Systems: Troubleshoot and repair automated resistance welding systems and robotics.
- Electrical Systems: Isolate defects in wiring, switches, and motors. Replace faulty components and ensure all work conforms to local building and safety codes.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute scheduled PMs on motors, conveyor systems, and pneumatic tools to ensure maximum production uptime and quality.
- Heavy Equipment: Service and repair plant utility equipment, including overhead cranes and large-capacity forklifts.
