Are you a skilled machine operator with a "get it done" attitude? A leading building materials company in the 32254 area is looking for a reliable Production Operator to join our 2nd-shift team! If you have experience operating heavy machinery and can navigate a forklift with ease, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Machine Operation: Running production equipment to manufacture high-quality building materials.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operating a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Quality Control: Monitoring the production line to ensure products meet company standards.
- Efficiency: Maintaining a steady pace to meet daily production goals during the 2nd shift.
- Experience: Proven background in Machine Operation and Sit-down Forklift.
- Mechanical Aptitude: You understand how machines work (experience in Mechanical Maintenance is a huge plus!).
- Work Ethic: Ability to work late shifts and commit to overtime/Saturdays when the team needs it.
- Safety First: A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workspace.

Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production machinery in accordance with company
standards and safety guidelines
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make minor repairs to
equipment
Read and interpret production work orders for size/print of finished material
Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
Conduct quality checks and ensure finished products meet specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Record production data and report any issues to the supervisor
Work is performed in a normal manufacturing environment (without climate
control)
Drive forklift to stack/unstack and move products and materials
Follow safe work practices and maintain a working knowledge of first aid and
emergency procedures.
Must be will to work assigned shift and overtime as needed (both during the
week and Saturdays if production demand requires it)
Employee shall participate in maintaining 5S in all areas of the facility, including
sweeping, cleaning, organizing, and other related tasks.
Employee will be expected to perform any other assignments and duties as
assigned.
