Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing, blending, encapsulation, tablet pressing, coating, and packaging machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
- Conduct equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments to meet production schedules.
- Maintain compliance with FDA, GMP, and safety standards during all maintenance activities.
- Inspect, repair, and replace components such as bearings, gears, motors, conveyors, pumps, and seals.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and product quality.
- Document all maintenance activities in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and extend equipment lifespan.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or related GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- solid working knowledge of tablet presses, encapsulators, blister packers, bottling lines, and mixers.
- Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting; basic electrical skills preferred.
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment a plus.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- solid communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime as required.
