Role Details
- Location: South St. Louis, MO
- Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
- Starting Pay: $22.97 per hour
- Tooling Setup: Install, align, and secure dies, punches, and fixtures into presses, brakes, and forming machines.
- Machine Calibration: Adjust machine settings including stroke, depth, pressure, and guides to match job specifications.
- First-Piece Inspection: Run initial samples and use precision instruments to verify dimensions before clearing the machine for production.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and analyze work orders and technical drawings to determine the necessary material and tooling requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues or setup errors to prevent downtime and material waste.
- Safety Oversight: Ensure all safety guards, sensors, and pull-backs are properly installed and functioning before operation.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of setup times, tool usage, and quality checks as required by internal work instructions.
