Our client is seeking a meticulous and disciplined Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic management of freight movement, vendor relations, and the maintenance of rigorous logistical standards. This role requires a professional with a high degree of organizational acumen and a proven track record in operational efficiency.  

salary: $52,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Coordinate & Execute: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of shipments, including domestic and [International, if applicable] freight.
  
  
• Carrier Management: Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with carriers and 3PL providers to ensure competitive rates and top-tier service.
  
  
• Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of defense when delays occur—rerouting shipments and communicating updates to internal teams.
  
  
• Documentation: Prepare and audit essential shipping documents (BOLs, Manifests, Customs paperwork).
  
  
• Inventory Oversight: Collaborate with the warehouse team to sync outgoing orders with current stock levels.
  
  
• Data Analysis: Monitor KPIs like shipping costs and delivery times to find "leaks" in the budget and suggest improvements.
