Responsibilities
- Diagnose & Repair: Perform emergency and planned repairs on complex factory equipment (conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors).
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled PMs to keep the line running smoothly and prevent costly downtime.
- Fabricate & Fix: Utilize shop tools, welding equipment, and manual lathes/mills to repair or create parts on the fly.
- Documentation: Track repairs and parts usage in our digital maintenance log.
- Experience: At least 2–5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanical systems, gearboxes, and fluid power. Basic electrical knowledge (PLCs, sensors, 480v) is a huge plus.
- Tool Savvy: Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stay on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- Mindset: A "safety-first" attitude and the ability to stay calm when a machine goes down during a busy production run.
