Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of specialized roll forming equipment to produce high-strength steel framing products, including our benchmark ProSTUD® and ProTRAK® systems. You will play a critical role in our "error-free" production mission by utilizing digital manufacturing tools and high-precision quality control standards.

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate roll forming lines to transform steel coils into structural and drywall framing components.
  
  
• Digital Integration: Utilize Industry 4.0 technologies to monitor production, ensuring full traceability and operational precision.
  
  
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections using calipers and micrometers to maintain SFIA and Intertek certifications for safety and strength.
  
  
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical or digital alignment issues to maintain a high-speed production flow.
  
  
• Material Loading: Use  forklifts to load heavy steel coils onto decoilers for threading.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
