Job Description:Warehouse EHS Clerk JOB DESCRIPTION Report at 7am on first day and starts 2nd shift - Report at 1:30pm the next day. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the manufacturing facility, including production areas, warehouses, offices, and common spaces. The role is crucial for ensuring a safe, healthy, and efficient working environment by performing routine cleaning tasks, operating specialized equipment, and adhering to strict safety protocols. Key Responsibilities General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment; clean windows and glass surfaces. Sanitation: Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other high-traffic areas, ensuring they meet hygiene standards. Waste Management: Collect aor Lisa Sapaughnd properly dispose of trash, recycling, and potentially hazardous waste. Restocking: Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and other consumables in various areas. Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all workplace health and safety regulations, chemical handling guidelines (e.g., COSHH), and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Required Qualifications Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, stretching, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Basic understanding of cleaning products and techniques. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a cleaner, especially in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures specific to manufacturing environments. Work Environment May involve exposure to various manufacturing environments, machinery, and potentially hazardous materials. Requires the use of PPE. May involve working shifts, including nights, weekends, or occasional holidays.
