Randstad Healthcare is hiring qualified CNA's in Atlanta, Georgia for a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate is comfortable with acute care in a large rehabilitation and long-term care setting.

Under the supervision of the Professional Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides personal care of patients, assists with activities of daily living, provides comfort measures and nourishments, and performs selected therapies as delegated by a licensed professional. The role of the CNA also includes patient advocacy and performance improvement.

Details:

Payrate: ranging from $21-$25+/hr

Shift: 3|12 or 4|12, 7a-7p or 7p-7a, days of week TBD by scheduler

Schedule: Full time, weekend/holiday availability, overtime possible

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates medical asepsis by following established isolation standards and hand hygiene.

Cleans and stores equipment to prevent spread of microorganisms.

Assists RN with patient positioning/repositioning to promote comfort and decrease skin breakdown.

Maintains a clean environment in patient rooms (linen changes, tidy bedside tables).

Assists patients with personal care needs (baths, oral care, and nourishment).

Obtains, documents, and reports vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, height/weight at the point of care accurately and in a timely manner.

Performs Hourly Rounding with use of AIDET/5Ps/Words that Work.

Qualifications:

2 years of recent CNA experience in a facility that specializes in LTC/Rehab/Nursing (Home Health and Hospital exp not counted toward this requirement)

Strong preference for recent LTC Facility experience

Current Georgia Nurse Aide Registration

Current BLS certification

Highschool diploma or equivalent

Covid19 vaccination (no exceptions due to federal mandate on facility)

Reliability/flexibility to commit to a variable 3|12 schedule that cannot guarantee block scheduling or set days
