We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and possess a diverse skill set in various medical specialties.
This is 100% onsite per diem to cover FMLA, PTO, additional coverage and LOA's. This will not be full time and will be used on an as-needed basis.
Duties:
Provide Primary Care treatment in an Employer-based setting
Episodic care (low acuity Urgent Care)
Chronic Disease Management
Pedatric Acute Care for ages 2+
Ability to perform CLIA waived tests
Dispense Rx medications (Must obtain Florida Dispensing License)
Collaboration with onsite employees to provide biometric screening and health and wellness education
Direct one on one health coaching to employees along with referring patients into wellness programs
Qualifications:
Active and Unrestricted Autonomous NP license required in Florida and dispensing license
Minimum of 3 or more years of NP experience, working independently in an internal medicine or family practice setting
Ability to practice independently
DEA licensure and prescriptive authority
Electronic Health Record experience
BLS certification
Excellent interpersonal skills including internal and external customers and group settings
Graduate of Certified NP program
Passionate about overall health and wellness and patient education
High energy and strong customer-centric focus
License requirements:
Autonomous NP
Current DEA
Dispensing License
CPR Certification
Shift:
One week of training - Monday-Friday 7-3:30
PRN must have the Ability to work health center hours:
Monday 7-5 Tuesday 7-3:30 Wednesday 7-5 Thursday 7-3:30 Friday 7-3:30
