We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients while providing excellent service.
Duties:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions, while adhering to aseptic techniques.
Conduct intake assessments and gather necessary patient information to ensure accurate medication administration.
Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and educating patients on medication usage and side effects.
Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and assist in managing stock levels.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care initiatives in acute care settings.
Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with team members and document patient interactions.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
Qualifications:
Registered Ohio Pharmacy Technician - Required
At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experince
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
