job summary: A Project Business Partner is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in the Houston, TX area. This position will be acting as the primary SCM liaison, this role leads supply chain planning and coordination across high-value projects, ensuring effective procurement, contracting, and logistics support in alignment with project goals and timelines. location: Houston, Texas job type: Contract salary: $29.62 - 37.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Represent SCM in project/program/development team meetings.Develop the SCM portion of the Project Management Plan (PMP), including procurement, logistics, and contracting plans.Monitor and manage the performance of SCM deliverables against supply and contracting plans.Facilitate approval processes for Contract Development Plans (CDP) and Contract Award Recommendations (CAR).Provide input into SCM progress reporting.Support value creation initiatives and coordinate stage gate reviews.Facilitate lessons learned sessions involving SCM teams. Skills: Effective teamwork, networking, and collaboration skills.strong verbal and written communication and influencing abilities. Desired Skills: Experience working with large, cross-regional organizations and diverse stakeholders.Skilled in various sourcing methodologies (e.g., RFX).Professional certification or enrollment (SCMP, CPSM) preferred.Proficiency in Ariba, SharePoint, and other supply chain systems.strong negotiation, cost modeling, and analytical skills.Project management and facilitation expertise.
