In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing insightful reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against these targets and providing regular updates to management. Generate various financial reports for internal stakeholders and external parties as required. General Ledger & Reconciliations: Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly classified. Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor a team of two accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure equitable workload distribution. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP), tax regulations, and industry-specific guidelines.
