job summary: Large utility is looking for a Gas Construction Manager in Hamilton, MI. This role is for a Gas Construction Manager with a Mechanical/Civil engineering background who is responsible for the safety, scope, cost, and schedule of a project's construction phase by overseeing onsite work, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. location: Hamilton, Michigan job type: Contract salary: $60.00 - 71.42 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: You will monitor and manage all aspects of the construction phase, reporting directly to the Project Manager. All team members and contractors working on the project report to you.You'll facilitate pre-construction meetings with an emphasis on safety and ensure the project adheres to all applicable company and industry codes.You will also oversee both pre-fabrication and onsite construction, monitoring safety, quality, risk, schedule, and budget.
