Design and manage robust analytical frameworks to translate resourcing plans and partnership arrangements into detailed, flexible cost structures for internal review and external supplier negotiations. Optimize and refine cost templates, standards, and analytical tools to support data-driven cost design and accurate forecasting for outsourced clinical activities. Develop technical solutions and automation tools-primarily using VBA in MS Excel-to enhance workflow productivity and enable seamless, bi-directional data integrations with external/commercial databases. Support the development of contracting strategies by providing accurate financial modeling for differing operating models. Stakeholder Engagement & Influence ? Act as the primary analytical conduit between Strategic Partnerships and Outsourcing (SPO), Clinical Operations, Procurement, Finance, and external suppliers. Facilitate consensus on cost structures by collaborating with functional leads to translate scientific and operational requirements into clinical pricing tools. Present complex analytical findings, financial scenarios, and cost recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels to support negotiation and strategic investment decisions. qualifications: Required Experience & Skills 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, clinical budget creation, negotiations, or clinical cost modeling within pharma/biotech R&D or CRO. Experienced VBA Programmer with proven ability to build seamless integrations and automated tools between Excel and external databases. Demonstrated experience translating complex business/operating models into clear, actionable cost structures. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with proven ability to synthesize complex operational and scientific data into clear financial recommendations. Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency with analytical, visualization, and business systems/tools (e.g., MS Excel, SharePoint, Tableau). Experience working in a global, matrixed environment with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Education Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required, ideally in a quantitative, scientific, or business field.
