job summary: The IT Quality Assurance Analyst (IT QAA) Senior is responsible for performing software testing activities, using a variety of testing approaches and techniques, typically providing functional, black-box and user acceptance testing expertise. Uses experience and imagination to ensure that information systems products and services are functioning as expected and meeting end-user requirements as well as uncovering risks related to unintended consequences. Uses analytical and problem-solving skills to recognize and reduce redundancies in testing efforts and create efficiency without compromising effectiveness. For this contractor assignment, our Commercial Lines Technology Group (CLTG) Core Auto has implemented a new Duck Creek based Policy Administration and Rating solution that provides industry leading capability to achieve usability and cost leadership, product speed to market, and underwriting dexterity. This contractor will participate in our Agile and Lean processes in one of our delivery (standing) teams supporting key business initiatives to transform the platform's product and core servicing functionality. This role will focus primarily on functional testing, mainly manual which would include risk-based testing, and should demonstrate the ability to identity and leverage automation testing opportunities. This QA will test features specific to policy servicing including ACE memos, POWR work items, and other similar features that support our internal servicing agents.
