This role is perfect for a proven leader with a strong background in sales strategy, new market penetration, and building high-level client relationships. This team is lean but mighty - with roots dating back to the 80s. They're looking to step back into the spotlight and take operations to a new level. My client is VERY open to reviewing different industries including consumer products, furniture, construction, architecture, interior design, and more. Prior roles they'd be interested in reviewing profiles of include Senior/Director/Executive level roles in: C-Suite Sales & Business Development Procurement/Strategic Sourcing Marketing (as long as the boots on the ground Sales experience is there) MUST HAVE Qualifications: Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development and sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience within the contract furniture, interior design, commercial construction, or a related B2B industry is highly preferred. Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic plans that have resulted in significant revenue growth. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team to exceed targets. Experience in training and mentoring staff is essential. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior-level executives and clients. Handle incoming inquiries from customers in territories not currently covered by sales staff Team Development and Training: Assist in the interviewing and hiring of future sales personnel. Take a primary role in their training, support, and ongoing professional development. Project Oversight: Oversee significant projects, working with the Project Manager to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's specifications Market Expansion: Identify and target new markets for future growth. Work with existing manufacturers and vendors to locate new sources and strengthen our product offerings for current and new markets. Marketing and Branding: Assist in developing and maintaining a marketing plan to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to inform strategic decisions Brand Ambassador: Represent company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
