job summary: A Site QC Supervisor is needed for a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company in the New York, NY, area. This role oversees and enforces quality assurance programs on civil construction projects especially those involving auger pile activities by coordinating inspections, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with standards, requiring 3-5+ years of experience and preferably a technical degree or craft background. location: New York, New York job type: Contract salary: $59.13 - 64.13 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Implement and maintain project-specific quality plans and procedures.Serve as liaison between project sites, procurement, corporate, and clients.Establish, implement, and oversee site quality programs.Coordinate with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, regulatory bodies, and field staff to ensure first-time-right execution.Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and specifications.Conduct audits and surveillance of contractor quality control programs.Create and track inspection plans and action items.Support and manage punch list walkdowns/inspections.Collate Quality Control documentation for final owner handover.Interface with clients and government officials as needed.Develop and implement quality programs to align with division and company goals.May act as Quality Consultant for internal or external stakeholders.Enforce standards for Safety, Ethics, and Quality, and participate in Lessons Learned and performance management processes. Skills: Knowledge of quality standards and construction technology.Experience with pile driving and auger pile construction activities.Ability to read erection drawings and understand constructability.Familiarity with project budgeting and controls.strong skills in risk assessment, conflict management, and report writing.Understanding of administrative procedures and quality documentation.
