We are searching for a highly strategic and detail-oriented Benefits Leader to own the comprehensive design, administration, and compliance of our employee benefits portfolio. This pivotal role drives the financial performance of all health, welfare, and retirement programs, requiring expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, HRIS utilization (Workday/UKG/ADP), and deep regulatory knowledge across ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA. Negotiate contracts, conduct RFPs, and secure optimal pricing with carriers, TPAs, and brokers to control costs and service levels. Administration & Operations: Manage daily functions: enrollments, QLEs, COBRA, premium reconciliation, and invoice approvals. Oversee open enrollment utilizing HRIS platforms (Workday, UKG, ADP). Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict adherence to ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, and IRS regulations (Sec. 125/401). Lead audits, respond to DOL/IRS inquiries, and maintain all required filings (SPDs, SBCs, 5500/1095-C). Retirement & Financial Oversight: Administer 401(k)/403(b) plans, including eligibility, contributions, vesting, and loans. Coordinate with recordkeepers and manage nondiscrimination testing (ADP/ACP) and Form 5500 filings. Model costs, track utilization, project budgets, and implement cost containment (plan changes, wellness). Integration & Employee Support: Drive process improvement via automation (EDI, self-service) and ensure accurate HRIS/payroll data integration, including M&A harmonization support. Develop comprehensive employee communications and resolve escalated coverage or claim issues.
