job summary: The role of the FP&A Manager is to implement, develop and provide commercial financial analysis and give data driven insights to aid decision making. The FP&A function will manage all data and dissemination of commercial results across the business, so the relevant tools are being provided to support the growth of the business. The role will place an emphasis on being a strategic finance partner and creating best practices that will be used for years. As FP&A Manager, you will report to the VP of FP&A and will directly support field leadership of a key subsidiary of the company's business. location: Duluth, Georgia job type: Permanent salary: $115,000 - 120,000 per year work hours: 8 to 5 education: Bachelor's degree experience: 5 Years responsibilities: - Partner with field leadership to provide FP&A support related to financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, KPIs, and profitability improvement. - Work with field and Accounting to coordinate fixed fee project revenue recognition process. - Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. - Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions. - Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights. - Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization. - Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made. - Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization. qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and 5 to 7 years of experience in FP&A role. MBA is a plus. - Strong commercial acumen paired with data driven approach to decision making. - Working knowledge of accounting principles. Experience with NetSuite ERP valued. - Experience developing financial reports and metrics. Power BI dashboard/report creation experience required. - Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. - Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment. - Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture. - Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication. - Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization.
