Position Summary: The Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist will manage day-to-day accounts payable operations and oversee accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple states. Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring accurate coding and receipt verification. Maintain organized and accurate records, including digital imaging of all AP documentation for audit readiness and retention. Manage vendor relationships to promote effective communication, prompt payment, and timely resolution of any issues. Investigate and resolve variances between invoices, purchase orders, and payments. Collaborate with the Controller to evaluate and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy. Administer bi-weekly payroll processing for employees across multiple states using Paylocity, including onboarding, terminations, pay changes, and supplemental payments. Audit and reconcile employee timecards, addressing discrepancies such as missed punches, leave adjustments, and overtime calculations. Maintain accurate payroll records, ensuring proper calculation of earnings, deductions (401(k), HSA/FSA, garnishments), and benefit contributions. Ensure timely submission and compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements, including garnishments and other withholdings. Support year-end payroll functions, including the preparation and distribution of W-2s, ACA 1095-C forms, and other required compliance filings.
