job summary: Eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance This senior-level Avionics System Engineer will perform flight-test and system engineering in the Applied Systems Laboratory (ASL) System Integration Division (SID). SID Supports system definition, integration, and software development projects for the Department of Defense (DoD) manned and unmanned aircraft improvement programs. SID research military aircraft specializing in avionics, electronic warfare, autonomous systems, intelligence systems, and tactical communication/datalink systems. location: Atlanta, Georgia job type: Contract salary: $80 - 115 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Manage all technical aspects of product or system design including directing multiple lab resources for large scale product or system deployments.Manage sub-contractor resources supporting all system engineering areas (definition, requirements analysis, synthesis, systems analysis and implementation).Conduct product or system design synthesis translating requirements into physical architectures for systems of high complexity.Define/refine internal and external interfaces.Define product strategy, develops product roadmap, and drives product execution. Supports maintaining existing programs and obtaining new research programs.Develop and review technical reports, specifications, test plans, memos, and diagrams detailing product or system attributes.
