job summary: The Project Manager is responsible for successfully managing the delivery of complex public safety communications projects on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations. As a key member of our Program Management team, you will manage the implementation of infrastructure construction, LMR radio networks, radio backhaul, radio system cores and base stations, portable and mobile radio programming, and similar technical projects for state and local government customers. location: Tampa, Florida job type: Permanent salary: $90,000 - 110,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of assigned public safety communications projects from initiation through successful completionCreate, update, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation, including creating and baselining Gantt charts, and maintaining up-to-date detailed schedules in TeamGanttMonitor project progress against established KPIs and take corrective action when necessaryConduct regular project meetings with customers and project stakeholders, including regular in-person meetings, and produce accurate meeting minutes and action plansUpdate and maintain project cost estimates, budgets, and issue logsNegotiate and prepare change orders as requiredTrigger the procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontractors according to the project schedule to optimize cash flow and meet delivery objectivesCoordinate cross-functional resources including engineering, technical services, and installation teamsImplement that Company's standardized project management methodologies and best practicesIdentify and manage project risks with appropriate mitigation strategiesBuild strong relationships with customers and represent Ci professionally in all interactions qualifications: Bachelor's degree (required). Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (required). Proven track record of delivering customer-facing solutions (required). Minimum of 3 years' experience managing multiple concurrent projects valued at $2M+ in the telecommunications, data center, or network deployment space. Experience with digital RF and microwave systems and/or site/facility development is a strong plus. Confident in leading in-person presentations and meetings with clients and stakeholders.
