Data Engineer II –
Randstad General Partner (US), LLC – One Overton Park, 3625 Cumberland Boulevard, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA 30339 (HYBRID)
DUTIES: Collect, store, process, and analyze of huge sets of data. Choose optimal solutions to use for sets of data, then maintain, implement, and monitor them. Be responsible for integrating sets of data with the architecture used across the company. Gather and process raw data at scale. Define data retention policies. Work closely with the data science team to perform ad hoc analysis of the data. Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases and systems. Build and implement ETL processes. Troubleshoot medium complexity problems. Provide data support, guidance, leadership, and/or training to junior team members.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field required. Two years of experience integrating data from multiple data sources utilizing ETL tools (i.e., Talend, Informatica, PDI) required. Two years of experience with database systems (i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, BigQuery, MongoDB) required. Two years of experience with distributing computing principles and programming languages (i.e., Python, Java, C) required.
Two years of experience with NoSQL databases (i.e., HBase, Spark, Hive, Cloudera) required.
One year of experience with Google Cloud Platform required. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field and two years of the above-listed experience, Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field and proficiency in the above-listed experience.
Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
