Accounting Consultant project for a private equity backed company that has recently conducted a $20mm company acquisition (asset purchase). The projects' focus is to integrate the company to the parent. This is a private equity backed manufacturing and distribution company based in Texas. This project needs an expert with Microsoft Dynamics to mange the General Ledger and the Chart of accounts transitioning the work from an outgoing bookkeeper. The Accounting consultant will clean up and integrate the newly acquired company's financials and report to the CFO. The Accounting Consultant will provide the accounting, reporting, and analysis on the new company.
This is a hands-on role that will be focused on the details regarding the chart of accounts in Microsoft Dynamics and will be responsible for the data transfer and establishing the processes and procedures going forward.
Estimated engagement length is 3+ months. This role is to be Hybrid with some travel to the office in Tomball, TX.

- Transition work from outgoing Bookkeeper of the acquired company
- Perform General Ledger Accounting and clean up the Chart of Accounts
- Provide for all general accounting and financial reporting for the $20mm asset purchase
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Conduct system review and integrate the financials in Microsoft Dynamics
qualifications:
- Ideal experience is prior post acquisition accounting integration for a small to medium size business
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred by not must have
- Public accounting helpful, but not a requirement
- Must have current Microsoft Dynamics experience
- Must have extensive manufacturing or distribution experience
