We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, managing daily, weekly, and monthly accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. You will play a key part in supporting the financial operations of the company through accurate transaction recording, reconciliation, and reporting.

Daily:
- Audit vendor invoices and post entries to the general ledger.
- Record and classify general ledger (GL) transactions.
- Process deposits (ACH and checks) and maintain deposit audit reports.
- Manage ACH and check positive pay clearance (ServisFirst Bank).
- Ensure all GL activities align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Monitor daily cash flow balances and maintain ledger integrity.
- Process payments for utilities, insurance, credit cards, and other recurring expenses.
- Record and classify payroll transactions from Dominion/Isolved payroll register.
- Record and classify 401(k) transactions.
- Reconcile bank and line of credit (LOC) statements.
- Audit accounts payable (AP) transactions in coordination with the Accounting Assistant.
- Review and print AP reports and select payments from aging reports.
- Print check batches on the 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st of each month.
- Record monthly financial transactions.
- Audit and close accounts receivable (AR) and review aging reports for outstanding balances.
- Coordinate collections with Accounting Assistant.
- Process and record American Express (Amex) statements.
- File and report sales tax.
- Issue Project Status Reports.
- Prepare and issue interim and final financial statements to officers.
- Prepare and submit estimated tax payments.
- File property taxes (Dekalb, Hall, Davidson County).
- Process and issue 1099s (Misc, Dividend, Rent, Lease, NEC).
- Process auto inclusions and dividend distribution checks.
- File GA/NC state business taxes and IRS Form 2290 (Highway Tax).
- Coordinate financial audit (Fiscal Year-End: July 31).
- Support insurance audits (Workers' Comp and General Liability).
- Prepare 401(k) census reports.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Solid understanding of GAAP.
- Experience with accounting software and payroll systems (e.g., Dominion/Isolved).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
