We are partnering with a highly respected and well-established real estate developer in the area to hire a Controller. This is a key leadership role that will work closely with the CFO and oversee a team of accountants, managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department.

responsibilities:
Coordinate with Construction Department to prepare and maintain AIA requisitions submitted to construction lenders for construction loan draws. Prepare internal construction progress reports to monitor construction project budgets, costs incurred to date, balance to complete and contractor retainage.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and manage annual individual property operating and capital budgets in collaboration with Property Management Department.
- Oversee loan and mortgage monitoring processes, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
- Assist CFO with cash flow management ensuring availability of funds as needed.
qualifications:
Bachelors in Accounitng
Relevant industy expereince in Real Estate or Construction
Management Supervison Expereince
ERP famialirty with Yardi and experinece with AIA billing
skills: Bank Reconciliations
