Tatum is seeking a sophisticated, systems-savvy Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our diverse portfolio client. This will require managing various distinct entities out of thier corporate office, this role is critical for providing high-level oversight, mentorship to staff, and ensuring the integrity of complex financial reporting.

responsibilities:
- Multi-Entity Oversight: Manage the full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a number of entities, ensuring accuracy across various industries.
- Leadership & Review: Provide direct oversight and technical review for Staff Level II accountants and AP specialists; serve as the "final eye" on financial outputs.
- Project Accounting: Handle complex construction accounting tasks, including Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports, Percentage of Completion (POC), and AIA Billing.
- Financial Analysis: Perform deep-dive P&L analysis and interpret complex lease agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance.
qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a background in Construction or Property Management.
- Technical Proficiency: Must be an Advanced Excel user (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and possess the ability to quickly learn new ERP systems.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Cost Accounting and the ability to read and interpret legal/lease documents.
- Audit Readiness: Proven track record of maintaining clean books and meeting year-end audit deadlines.
- Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced environment.
