Randstad is seeking for a Payroll Manager for a entertainment company located in the Casper, WY area. This role implements, maintains, and reviews payroll operations to ensure the timely and accurate processing of employee transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, and taxes, in strict compliance with regulatory standards.
To start, this role functions as an individual contributor focused strictly on payroll processing (no payroll accounting required) for approximately 500 employees. This is an in-office position with the flexibility to transition to a hybrid schedule in the future.
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 plus a 10% bonus

responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration: Manages end-to-end payroll preparation, processing, tax reporting, year-end tax preparation, and ongoing payroll system maintenance for 500 employees across multiple locations.
- Focus on Processing: Dedicates 100% of core responsibilities to pure payroll processing, On-boarding, compliance management, and data entry.
- Compliance & Operations: Oversees all department operations in strict accordance with federal and state laws, multi-state/multi-location compliance regulations, and internal company policies.
- Onboarding & Employee Support: Facilitates the onboarding process for new employees within the payroll system, processes employee changes, and serves as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries.
- Internal Service Excellence: Delivers exceptional customer service to internal guests and colleagues, maintaining a positive, calm, and professional demeanor in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
- Collaboration & Culture: Fosters trusting, professional relationships with managers and vendors, works effectively as an independent contributor, and upholds company appearance and safety standards.
qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required (an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is a plus).
- Experience: 3 or more years of hands-on payroll processing experience, ideally managing payroll for approximately 500 or more employees.
- Multi-Location Experience: Proven experience processing payroll for a multi-location or multi-state organization is required.
- Onboarding & Systems: Strong proficiency with mainstream payroll processing platforms and experience managing new hire onboarding and employee data updates.
- Skill Focus: A strong background in pure payroll processing execution, tax compliance, garnishments, and deduction management; payroll accounting skills are not required.
