responsibilities:
- Receive, inventory, and manage R&D large and small molecule compounds
- Maintain accurate records of physical inventory and software tracking systems
- Store samples in appropriate conditions, including -80°C, -20°C, 4°C, and ambient environments
- Aliquot biological materials under aseptic, controlled conditions
- Weigh and solvate powder compounds for research use
- Use proprietary shipping software to prepare, track, and manage sample shipments
- Receive and stock laboratory supplies as needed
- Ensure proper disposal of laboratory waste in accordance with safety protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot laboratory automation systems (if experienced)
- Collaborate closely with lab team members to meet order fulfillment and inventory goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab workspace at all times
qualifications:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a biological science or 5+ years of experience in biologics sample processing or a related field
- Strong background in biology with completion of multiple relevant coursework
- Experience handling biological materials and performing lab techniques
- Ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy, especially during repetitive tasks
- Comfortable lifting up to 25 pounds and sitting for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
- Experience working with automated liquid handling systems
- Familiarity with chemical inventory databases and laboratory information management systems
- Comfortable performing extended work in biosafety cabinets (bio-hoods)
- Proficient in troubleshooting basic lab automation or instrumentation issues
- Experience with shipping software and inventory logistics tools
