The successful candidate will join the team and be responsible for the formulation, development, and evaluation of essential ingredients for home care segments. This will include developments for various sub-segments, such as laundry cleaners, dishwashing applications, and hard surface cleaners.

responsibilities:
- Set-up, plan, execute, analyze, interpret and report experiments
- Keep current on uses and improve relevant research methods in the field, ensure retention of knowledge through research reports and ensure other team members stay current
- Participate in projects and ensure executing and delivery using own area of expertise
- Understand, develop and comment on technical strategy in own area
- Prepare and present information for customer activities as appropriate
- Maintain and promote a safe work environment, end results are zero or minimum safety incidents and a clean, orderly working environment
- Use, improve, and implement new methodologies and tools to link test data to consumer attributes in above market areas
- Deliver results for small to large sized and/or complex projects on time, with Project Management skills
- Interface internally with the marketing, technical service, and manufacturing groups, and externally with customers to fulfill product needs within targeted home care markets
qualifications:
Required:
- BS or MS in Chemistry or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in home care product formulation and/or testing with basic ingredients (surfactants, chelating agents, polymers) for home care products
- Good multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills (written and presentation)
- Experience in laundry and dishwashing applications is a plus
skills: HPLC, Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
