Seeking a skilled Associate Scientist to join a dynamic technical development team in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a lab-experienced professional to contribute to a variety of non-GMP services, including preparing solutions and media, managing raw materials, and assisting in formulation development.

responsibilities:
- Providing a variety of non-GMP services to internal customers.
- Preparing basic and complex solutions, media, and buffers.
- Assisting in the development and optimization of formulations.
- Providing technical expertise on preparation procedures and mixing process parameters.
- Following established procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Managing the department's chemical and consumable inventories.
- Collaborating and communicating with multiple departments to develop solution formulations and preparation process instructions.
- Characterizing media and buffers.
- Defining assay release criteria.
- Investigating and troubleshooting deviations.
qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in the Sciences with 1 year of experience in a lab environment required.
- Previous experience with sterile technique.
- Previous experience with documentation.
- The ideal candidate is a flexible, fast learner with a strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills, organization and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, and/or relevant field with some experience in a lab environment.
- Demonstrated customer service capabilities.
