The Lab Associate supports laboratory operations and research activities for a leading food production company. responsibilities:
- Perform routine hourly checks on food products, including verifying bottle codes and conducting tests for sugar content.
- Prepare and process laboratory specimens, samples, and supplies according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests and observations.
- Assist in general laboratory research activities under the supervision of senior staff.
- Ensure the laboratory workspace is safe, clean, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality control guidelines.
qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working in a laboratory, preferably in the food production or a related industry
skills: Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
