The Chemist is an individual contributor responsible for performing a variety of tests on samples within a Quality Control (QC) laboratory. This role involves operating and maintaining various instruments, ensuring data integrity, and adhering to strict cGMP and documentation practices. The specific duties and responsibilities may vary based on the assigned department, group, as well as the individual's education, training, and level of experience. This position requires a strong working knowledge of analytical techniques and equipment to ensure the quality and compliance of all tested materials.

responsibilities:
- Execute a full range of analytical testing, including routine, advanced, and critical analysis, with a working knowledge of raw materials testing and release.
- Operate and maintain a variety of specialized instruments, such as Karl Fischer, HPLC, GC, Particle Size, and ICP, and coordinate with vendors for their installation and qualification.
- Ensure strict compliance with all cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), data integrity, and good documentation practices.
- Lead investigation activities to address testing deviations or other issues as they arise.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in scientific discipline
- Fluent in English, capable of both speaking and understanding complex concepts.
- Skilled in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and make sense of complex data sets.
- Proficient in software, specifically Microsoft Office programs and other scientific applications.
- Experience in Inhalation products (MDI)
