- The ideal candidate is highly proficient at the bench, with direct experience in MSD, Luminex, ELISA, AlphaLISA, qPCR, western blot, flow cytometry, cell culture, and RNA/protein extraction.
- This role involves designing and executing biomarker assays, performing sample analyses across rodent, NHP, and human tissues/plasma, troubleshooting technical challenges, and generating high-quality, reproducible data under minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates must demonstrate strong assay development and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to rigorous experimental execution, while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

responsibilities:
- Support biomarker assay development and biomarker measurements for preclinical cardiometabolic programs.
- Collaborate with biomarker leads to design, optimize, and execute fit-for-purpose assays for biomarker validation and quantification.
- Perform biomarker measurements across diverse sample types, including rodent, NHP, and human plasma/tissues.
- Accurately execute experiments, maintain detailed records, and ensure data quality, integrity, and reproducibility.
- Analyze and interpret experimental results, prepare reports, and present data to project teams to guide next-step decisions.
- Troubleshoot assay challenges, adapt protocols as needed, and apply both commercial and custom assay solutions for novel biomarker measurement.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards, quality practices, and documentation requirements.
- Contribute as a reliable team member, supporting multiple projects under tight timelines.

- Masters degree OR Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
- 2 years of experience required
- Technical Expertise in Molecular and Cellular Biology
- Strong lab-based skills in a wide range of molecular, cellular, and biochemical techniques.
- Hands-on industry experience with MSD, Luminex, ELISA, AlphaLISA, cell culture, in vitro/in vivo sample processing, RNA/protein extraction, qPCR, western blot, and flow cytometry.
- Demonstrated proficiency validated through prior work experience, peer reviews, and references.
