responsibilities:
- Ensure the physicochemical characterization and performance evaluations of hair and cosmetics products are completed according to defined protocols, including microscopy, rheology, and other internal methods.
- Assist with the Design of Experiments to analyze product stability, appearance, viscosity, and in-vitro performance.
- Actively explore and propose new methods for formula characterization to enhance R&D capabilities.
- Ensure complete traceability of all characterizations, from sample receipt to data reporting.
- Contribute to the establishment of an efficient operational workflow for sample transfer between formulation and characterization labs.
- Maintain accurate and organized stability records.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or a diploma/certification in Quality Control, Physical Measurements, or a related physical science field.
- Demonstrated technical research experience in a laboratory setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to work autonomously in a lab environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative, team-oriented spirit.
- A rigorous and critical approach to analysis and reporting.
- Experience with lab equipment such as pH meters, microscopes, viscometers/rheometers, and foam analyzers.
- Familiarity with batching equipment (e.g., Olsa, Disconti, Silverson).
