responsibilities:
- Formulation Development: Batch formulas and create innovative prototype formulas, performing necessary modifications to ensure they meet stringent product specifications.
- Formula Optimization & Stability: Follow up on the stability of developmental formulas and proactively make adjustments and fixes as necessary to maintain product integrity and performance.
- Technical & Regulatory Support: Contribute to critical functions including Regulatory compliance, Safety assessments, and Patent analysis, ensuring all products adhere to internal and external standards.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Participate in Micro testing, Salon evaluation, and other forms of Evaluation Intelligence to guarantee product excellence and consumer satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Provide creative and resourceful solutions to technical issues and challenges that arise throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key resource and effectively interact with various support groups within the R&D organization, ensuring seamless project execution.
qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a laboratory or R&D environment.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with standard office and laboratory software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team-player mentality and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Direct experience (1+ year) working within the cosmetics, personal care, or consumer packaged goods industries.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Experience with laboratory equipment used in cosmetic formulation and testing.
