The successful candidate must have strong computer skills and a fundamental understanding of how to interpret chemical analytical test results for a wide variety of products using primarily Chromatography techniques. These analyses are in support of production activities including Photochromic Dyes and OLED materials. Applicant must be a self-starter capable of independent work in a quality controlled environment with high attention to detail.

responsibilities:
- Timely preparation and submission of analytical samples for incoming raw materials, in-process batches and finished goods
- Tabulation and interpretation of analytical test data
- Liaison between production groups and QC Test Lab.
- Raw material and batch approval to established specifications
- Reporting and communication of batch dispositions
- Participation in root cause investigations and problem solving activities
- Support Quality Management System Activities
- Develop personally and professionally through work experience and by acquisition of new skills as determined by the expanding needs of the position.
qualifications:
- B.S. degree in chemistry related field preferred with experience in quantitative analysis of HPLC, UPLC and GC techniques.
- Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience is desirable.
- Ability to perform light duty work including lifting a minimum of 25 lbs.
