Immediate opportunity for a an Associate Scientist to drive critical advances in inflammation and rare-disease biomarker programs. This role is central to accelerating therapeutic innovation and bringing life-changing treatments to patients.

responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and independently troubleshoot complex biomarker assays (MSD, ELISA, AlphaLISA, qPCR, etc.) across preclinical and potentially clinical programs, with a commitment to rigorous experimental execution and generating figure-quality data.
- Perform precise sample analyses across rodent, NHP, and human tissues/plasma, maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accurate documentation in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional research and development teams to translate robust wet-lab findings into long-term strategic drug development decisions, ensuring scientific rigor and patient benefit.
qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field with 2+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, or exceptional academic research experience with equivalent wet-lab expertise.
- Deep domain expertise in quantitative protein assays (MSD, ELISA, AlphaLISA, etc.) and mammalian cell culture.
- Proven capacity to demonstrate real experimental ownership by independently executing experiments with minimal supervision, and excel in a dependable, highly organized work structure focused on long-term impact.
- Demonstrated record of productivity (e.g., contributions to papers, posters, or critical decision-making data).
- Proficiency with qPCR, western blot, flow cytometry, cell culture, and RNA/protein extraction.
