responsibilities:
Responsible for visually examining rejects of finished product coming from the automated inspection lines to determine presence and type of defects
Job Responsibilities
- Receives tubs of product from the manufacturing lines and inspects each syringe/vial in a light booth against black and white background.
- Inspects rejected syringes and/or vials coming from the automated inspection lines to confirm presence of a defect and to classify the type of defect according to a list of defects.
- Inspects defect kits received from vendors to confirm correct defects in each unit and confirm the presence of single defects in each unit.
- Documentation of results on GMP documents such as forms and logbooks.
- Assist with inspection related deviations as needed.
- Other duties as assigned when necessary.
qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent training and/or experience, with focus on general studies
- Experience: 2 to 3 years' experience with inspection of products, preferably in a manufacturing or a quality environment.
