responsibilities:
- Formula Development: Create prototype formulas and perform precise modifications to ensure all products meet rigorous technical and aesthetic specifications.
- Stability & Testing: Execute and monitor formula stability studies, making necessary adjustments to ensure long-term product integrity and safety.
- Project Management: Manage a minimum of five basic projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met within the product development lifecycle.
- Technical Problem Solving: Provide creative and resourceful solutions to formulation challenges that arise during the development process.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact effectively with various support groups within the R&D department to streamline workflows and share technical insights.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental results, formula adjustments, and stability data.
qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience, demonstrating a strong grasp of formulation principles.
- Technical Skills: High level of computer literacy and proficiency in data management.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
- Work Ethic: Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a collaborative, team-player mindset.
- Direct experience within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
- Specific experience with color cosmetics, skincare, or hair care formulations.
