responsibilities:
- Independently complete product development projects from inception to officialization to meet launch deadlines, with support from supervisor as needed.
- Develops and refines formulas; performs product stability on all formulas and resolves stability issues.
- Monitors the quality and conformity of formulas.
- May handle multiple basic projects simultaneously.
- Identifies raw materials and technologies suitable for product development.
- Demonstrates creativity and resourcefulness in proactively identifying and proposing solutions to issues that may arise during product development or in transfer to manufacturing.
- May interface with technical support groups including marketing, analytical, regulatory, evaluation, claims and manufacturing.
qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in science or engineering is required
- 1-5 years of technical experience, ideally in a personal care or cosmetic field
- Familiarity with formulation is a plus
- Knowledge of US hair market & requirements desirable
- Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to share and teach in the area of expertise with experts and non-experts alike
- Authorization to work in the US on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
