responsibilities:
- Sample Preparation: Register and prepare samples for complex analytical testing via data entry, precision weighing, and physical homogenization.
- Analytical Testing: Execute routine to complex chemical or microbiological analyses according to NQAC methods and SOPs.
- Data Generation & Analysis: Act as the primary data generator; calculate, record, and evaluate results for accuracy, ensuring identification numbers remain matched with correct samples.
- Lab Operations: Operate and maintain foundational lab equipment (balances, pH meters, autoclaves) and prepare accurate standards and reagents.
- Quality Assurance: Support QA/QC processes by maintaining ICPs (Internal Control Plans) and QA documentation; report findings to lead scientists or management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve process bottlenecks and participate in Lean Laboratory initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Reporting: Conduct preliminary interpretations of data and observations to draft reports for supervisory review.
qualifications:
Required:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) and strong English language skills (reading/writing).
- Attributes: High learning agility with the ability to execute non-routine tasks with minimal supervision. Must have a results-focused mindset and strong follow-through.
- Education: Undergraduate degree in a related science (Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, etc.).
- Experience: 1 year of practical experience in an analytical laboratory or relevant academic coursework.
- Advanced Skills: Ability to review and synthesize conclusions from complex analytical data.
