The QC Technician II will make an impact by performing fit-for-purpose testing, following operating procedures, in support of manufacturing including in-line and finished product release testing using various analytical techniques.

responsibilities:
- Analytical Testing: Conduct in-line and finished product release testing via various techniques according to SOPs.
- Instrument Operation: Prepare standards/samples and run instrumentation with minimal supervision.
- Documentation: Record data in LIMS and lab notebooks following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Investigations: Support OOS (Out of Specification) investigations through testing and documentation.
- Process Improvement: Optimize analytical methods and apply Lean Six Sigma for continuous improvement.
- Lab Maintenance: Maintain general housekeeping and complete additional tasks as assigned.
qualifications:
Required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in industry or a relevant market.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with wet chemistry, basic analytical instrumentation, and chromatography.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with compendial methods (ACS, USP/NF, EP/BP, JP, FCC) and bio/pharmaceutical standards.
- Review & Analysis: Experience reviewing laboratory notebooks and technical data.
- Continuous Improvement: Proficiency in Lean methods and process improvement (cost-saving initiatives).
