responsibilities:
Responsibilities * Serve as the technical SME for microbiological testing, including environmental monitoring, sterility, endotoxin, and microbial identification.
- Develop and deliver aseptic technique and contamination control training for Manufacturing and QC personnel to ensure GMP compliance.
- Support quality systems by leading deviations, CAPAs, investigations, and change controls associated with microbiology operations.
- Review and approve technical documentation, including microbiological data, validation protocols, and quarterly trending reports.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior scientists and laboratory staff within the QC Microbiology lab.
- ?Support regulatory inspections and audits by providing technical justification and high-level documentation.
qualifications:
Required: * BS in Biology/Microbiology with 10+ years (or MS with 6+ years) of relevant experience in a GMP QC microbiology laboratory.
- Advanced expertise in environmental monitoring, bioburden, endotoxin, sterility, and mycoplasma testing.
- Direct experience supporting aseptic manufacturing environments and cleanroom operations.
- Proven track record of mentoring laboratory staff and providing technical training.
- Deep knowledge of cGMP regulations and microbiological control strategies.
- ?Ability to work Monday-Friday (8 am - 5 pm) with flexibility for weekend support as needed.
