responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth LC-MS based characterization of therapeutic biologic molecules and post-translational modifications.
- Conduct liquid chromatography-based characterization of candidates using size exclusion, ion exchange, and reverse phase.
- Execute experimental protocols, collect results, and perform independent data analysis.
- Maintain excellent documentation, including electronic lab notebooks, and prepare concise scientific presentations.
- Oversee routine laboratory operations and the maintenance of key laboratory equipment.
qualifications:
Required:
- BS/MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ (BS) or 2+ (MS) years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 0+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with protein mass spectrometry (subunit analysis, peptide mapping, disulfide mapping) and data processing.
- Experience with liquid chromatography methods commonly used for characterizing biologic proteins.
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with liquid handling robots and their programming.
- Proficiency in data analysis using MS Excel and GraphPad.
