responsibilities:
- Execute daily upstream cGMP manufacturing activities, including media preparation, filtration, and cell culture sampling.
- Perform harvest operations and utilize single-use bioreactor systems under strict compliance guidelines.
- Operate and troubleshoot automated recipes and specialized equipment (CIP/SIP skids, autoclaves, and biowelders).
- Complete and review batch documentation accurately while actively identifying or reporting any process deviations.
- Support routine cleanroom operations, facility sanitization, environmental monitoring sample collection, and waste removal.
qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of relevant biotech or biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day and perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, lifting).
- Flexibility to work shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM and/or 3:00 PM-11:00 PM EST), mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays during peak production.
- Proficiency with computer-based systems (Word, Excel).
- AS/BS/BA in a science-related field or equivalent technical biopharmaceutical experience.
