responsibilities:
- Sort, pick, aliquot, scan, store, and preserve biological specimens in accordance with strict laboratory safety and quality standards.
- Retrieve samples from cold storage, including handling temperatures of -20°C for short durations.
- Perform high-volume data entry with an emphasis on speed and accuracy.
- Transfer processed specimens safely to designated laboratory departments.
- Adhere strictly to all biohazard safety protocols, compliance regulations, and standard operating procedures.

Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong alphanumeric data entry skills (minimum 6,000 keystrokes per hour).
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods and work in a biohazard environment.
- High flexibility to work a Wednesday-Sunday night shift (9:00 PM - 5:30 AM), including overtime and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory specimen processing or medical terminology.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production or hospital environment.
