Our client is seeking a motivated individual to work in their Branchburg, NJ location, supporting critical manufacturing through high-impact analytical testing. This 100% on-site position features a primary swing shift schedule (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM) in a fast-paced Quality Control environment, providing key data that directly drives production decisions.

responsibilities:
- Perform intensive, fast-turnaround analytical testing on specialty chemical samples to support local production operations.
- Utilize analytical techniques to evaluate solvent content, viscosity, specific gravity, water content, color, normality, and pH.
- Review test results against strict specifications, generating and maintaining accurate procedure and testing records.
- Calibrate analytical instruments and execute routine, minor maintenance to ensure optimal lab performance.
- Safely handle organic solvents and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted while maintaining full compliance with safety standards.
qualifications:
Required:
- Associate's degree in Chemistry, Physics, or related scientific discipline with 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience OR a Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field with laboratory experience.
- Ability to work 100% on-site in Branchburg, NJ, primarily on a swing shift schedule (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM).
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and work around organic solvents and chemicals.
- Demonstrated ability to follow written SOPs, interpret routine technical data, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a QC or analytical chemistry lab setting.
- Familiarity with SAP or LIMS software systems.
