responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Process Analytical Technology (PAT) integrations for upstream cell culture experiments, drawing meaningful results to keep projects on schedule.
- Operate bioreactors and maintain rigorous aseptic techniques while managing routine experimental workflows.
- Apply core scientific and engineering principles to solve technical problems of routine scope and complexity.
- Deliver clear technical reports, data presentations, and application notes to support ongoing product development milestones.
- Stay current on bioprocessing trends, performance expectations, and technical advancements through literature review and industry conferences.
qualifications:
Required:
- B.S. in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on laboratory experience planning, executing, and documenting cell culture experiments.
- Demonstrated experience operating bioreactors and maintaining strict aseptic techniques.
- Solid analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting (over 20 lbs) and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Flexibility to support experimental schedules on weekends when necessary.
- Direct biopharmaceutical industry experience in a product development setting.
